Water where it shouldn't be?

Turn off the water at the meter
It's usually near the front boundary, under a small lid by the footpath. Turn the tap a quarter turn so the handle sits across the pipe.

Switch off the hot water system
Electric units at the switchboard, gas units at the pilot dial. This stops the element burning out with no water in the tank.

Keep power away from the water
If water is near powerpoints or leaking through a ceiling light, turn off that circuit at the switchboard.

Take photos for insurance
Photograph the damage before you clean up. We'll add our own photos and a written cause report for your claim.

Do you really come out the same day?
For most of our area, yes. If you call before 2pm on a weekday we can usually get someone there that afternoon. Burst pipes, gas leaks and no hot water jump the queue.
How much does a blocked drain cost to clear?
Most household blockages are cleared for between $220 and $390, including the call-out. Blockages caused by tree roots or broken pipes cost more, and we'll show you camera footage before quoting.
Can you work with my insurance company?
Yes. We provide a written cause report with photos, which is what most insurers ask for. We can also speak to your assessor directly.
Are you licensed for gas?
Every plumber in our vans holds a NSW plumbing and gasfitting licence. Gas work comes with a certificate of compliance lodged with NSW Fair Trading.
Do you charge extra on weekends?
Saturday until 6pm is standard pricing. Sundays, public holidays and after 6pm use the after-hours call-out of $169. The job itself is priced the same.
